<p align="JUSTIFY"><span style="font-size: medium;"> These dull-colored flies are best known by the common representative the house fly, Musca domestica. These flies are very similar in appearance as adults to the adults of the Sarcophagidae and the Calliphoridae. The family contains two groups of flies, species of </span><span style="font-size: medium;"><i>Musca</i></span><span style="font-size: medium;"> and </span><span style="font-size: medium;"><i>Stomoxys</i></span><span style="font-size: medium;">, that are of importance in feline medicine only because they probably typically bother cats in a fashion similar to how they bother humans and other animals.</span></p> |
