These flies are very similar in appearance as adults to the adults of the Sarcophagidae and the Calliphoridae. The family contains two groups of flies, species of </span><span style="font-size: medium;"><i>Musca</i></span><span style="font-size: medium;"> and </span><span style="font-size: medium;"><i>Stomoxys</i></span><span style="font-size: medium;">, that are of importance in feline medicine only because they probably typically bother cats in a fashion similar to how they bother humans and other animals.</span></p> |
