<p align="CENTER"><span style="font-size: large;"><b>CIMICIDAE</b></span></p> <p align="JUSTIFY"></p> <p align="JUSTIFY"><span style="font-size: medium;"> The bedbugs, most commonly represent by the Cimex lectularis, are a group of wingless, blood-feeding bugs that live in cracks and crevices in human habitations. Other species are found in feed on bats, rodents, and birds and are found living in caves and nesting areas. The bugs feed while the host in in the nest, Cimex lectularis is active at night, rapidly filling to repletion on the blood of their host. There are five nymphal stages as is the case with the triatomin bugs and all stages will take at least one blood meal. The female glues the eggs in cracks and crevices where she lives. The bugs will feed on many different hosts if they share the same environment, and it is suspected that they would feed on cats. They are not known to transmit any diseases between cats.</span></p> <p align="JUSTIFY"></p>
