TREMATODES OF THE NASAL FOSSAE
Trematodes of the nasal fossae or sinuses
ORCHIPEDIDAE
Orchipedumisostoma (Rudolphi, 1819)
TROGLOTREMATIDAE
Troglotrema mustelae Wallace, 1932
Some trematodes normally live as adults in the nasal sinuses of their hosts. There is every reason to believe that cats are capable of becoming infected with these trematodes if they eat an infected intermediate hosts. However, there are no reports of this having occurred naturally.
