Echinochasmus breviviteilus Fahmy, Khalifa, Sakla, 1981

This trematode was discovered and described on the basis of 5 specimens collected from the upper part of the small intestine of one naturally infected stray cat from Assiut, Egypt (Fahmy MA, Khalifa R, Sakla AA. Study on two echinochasmid parasites (Trematoda: Echinochasmidae) from Upper Egyptian cats. Assiut Vet Med J 8:73-75).
