Ascocotyle arnoldoi (Travassos, 1928) Soganderes-Bernal & Lumsden, 1963
The worm was originally described from mice, dogs, and an albatross. However, this trematode has been reported from 3% of cats in São Paulo, Brazil (Ogassawara et al., 1986 NEED REFERENCE) and in 6% of cats in Chile (Tones et al., 1973 NEED REFERENCE). Clinical signs due to this worm have not been described.
